Zehri urges media to avoid portraying terrorists as heroes
QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri has urged the media to avoid showing terrorists as heroes. The chief minister said his government would not leave the masses at the mercy of terrorists.
“We will not spare those who are involved in heinous crimes including targeted killings and bomb blasts,” he added.
He was speaking to different delegations which called on him at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Thursday.
Commenting on the role of the media, he said it should have felt its responsibilities by presenting patriots and those elements who are loyal to Pakistan instead of anti-Pakistan.
Balochistan is our house and we have taken serious and practical steps to improve law and order situation and now the Balochistan situation is better than past, he added. The chief minister said the CPEC would open new doors of prosperity on people of Pakistan, especially of Balochistan. He said work is under way to connect Gwadar with CPEC M-8 and other national highways.
