Accused in minor girl’s murder case confess to crime

TAKHTBHAI: The two men accused in the brutal murder case of a six-year-old minor confessed to the crime on Friday, police officials said.

The accused Tahir Bacha and Wasim confessed to the Lundkhwar police that they had murdered the minor girl. They also told the police that after murdering the minor they stuffed the body into a sack and threw it into the canal in Kati Garhi.

Latif Khan, father of the victim, had got registered a case against unidentified accused with Lundkhwar Police Station about the abduction of his daughter a few days ago. Following the registration of first information report (FIR), the police arrested few suspects. The main accused, Tahir Bacha, confessed to have committed the crime as well as identified Wasim as his accomplice during the interrogation, a police official said.

Later, the body of the minor was recovered from Kati Garhi canal. A local court had given the accused into the police custody on a three-day remand who confessed to the crime.Tahir Bacha told the police that he wished to marry Shab Noor while parents of the deceased had refused the proposal, saying she was only six years old.
