Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged a condolence reference in memory of senior poet, columnist and ‘Sukhanwar’ president of Aftab Zia.
Arshad Malik, Wafa Chishti, Mehboob Zafar, Anjum Khaleeq, Dr Zahid Chughtai, Rana Abdul Baqi, Jalil Aali, Yousaf Hassan, Professor Mqsood Jafferi, Naveed Malik, Mazhar Shahzad, Farkhanda Shamim, Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director Waqar Ahmed paid rich tributes to Aftab Zia for his wonderful literary services.
Speakers addressing at the occasion said that Aftab Zia was not only a poet but also a good person.
