ITU signs MoU with Harvard University
LAHORE
Professor Jennifer Leaning, François-Xavier Bagnoud, professor of the Practice of Health and Human Rights and director of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights, Harvard University, visited the Centre for Governance and Policy, Information Technology University (ITU) on Friday to sign a memorandum of underestimation with ITU.
According to a press release, IT University is the first university in Pakistan to have signed a cooperative contract with the South Asia Institute at Harvard University and become a partner in this important initiative.
Professor Leaning is leading cross country researcher into the humanitarian and demographic effects of the Partition of British India and the creation of Pakistan in 1947. Later, Professor Leaning visited the Punjab Archives, the Civil Secretariat Library.

Anjuman-e-Mehria Naseeria will host ‘Naseer-e-Millat’ seminar at Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture (PILAC) today (Saturday) to pay tribute to Pir Syed Naseer-ud-Din Naseer Gillani. Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Punjab Minister for Auqaf Mian Atta Muhammad Maneka and Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will be guests of honour while Syed Ghulam Nizam-ud-Din Jami Gillani will preside. —Correspondent
