Woman abducted; bids to abduct three children foiled

PAKPATTAN: A married woman was kidnapped here on Thursday.

Rustam Ali and three others entered the house of Muhammad Shahid in Bonga Hayat and allegedly abducted his wife. Police have registered a case and started investigation.

In another incident, 12-year-old Rashid of Chak 2/EB and his friend were cutting fodder in the fields when unidentified people came there and abducted Rashid.

However, Rashid’s friend managed to escape and raised hue and cry. Hearing the noise, people rushed to the spot, forcing the accused to escape without the child, who was in an
unconscious condition. The boy was shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
