Bodies of three drowning victims found

The bodies of three picnickers who drowned at sea on separate days were found in different areas on Thursday. 

The body of an unidentified 35-year-old man was found floating in Lyari River near Lyari Express Way in Pak Colony police limits after people saw it and informed the police. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for legalities and the MLO deduced that the body was at least six days old.

Another body of 35-year-old man who couldn’t be identified either was found afloat in the sea waters near Benazir Park situated within Boat Basin police area.  The body was recovered after people called the police authorities and was shifted to Civil Hospital, where the MLO informed that it was at least 15-days-old.

An unidentified body of a 35-year-old man was found afloat by the picnickers in the waters of Sand’s Pit Beach situated in Mauripur police limits. After being told, the police took the body to Civil Hospital and the MLO notified that the body was at least five days old.

 

Electrocution kills two

In separate incidents, two people passed away after accidentally getting electrocuted on Thursday. In an attempt to acquire illegal electricity connection from a live wire, Rohan, 32 lost his life in his residence at Urdu Nagar situated within Malir City police limits.   

Muhammad Saeed, 55, died after he got electrocuted as he fixed the wiring of his electric meter in his house at Sattar Compound situated in Lyari Bheem Pura within Napier police jurisdiction.
