Destructive engagement
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is increasingly seen as a political figure whose actions seem to make problems worse rather than solve them. Instead of pursuing dialogue and constructive engagement, his frequent strong statements and confrontational approach are adding to the tension. Pakistan’s survival, political stability and democracy require patience, responsibility and sensible behaviour from everyone. Differences in opinion are natural and everyone has the right to disagree, but when it comes to national matters, unity, careful planning and working together are essential.
It is clear to everyone where different institutions and political groups stand. No matter how many explanations are given, the facts are well known. If the goal is to help the party leadership or manage legal challenges, the power to do so is already with the party leaders. Dialogue, compromise and practical political strategy can provide real solutions to national problems.
