Cops reshuffled in KP

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police has issued a fresh round of transfers and postings in the force.

According to a notification, Yasir Afridi was posted as district police officer (DPO) Bannu while Saleem Abbas Kulachi was appointed to the Central Police Office after his transfer to the Establishment division.

Also, Muhammad Bilal was posted deputy commandant Elite Force, Aslam Nawaz was posted DPO Upper Dir and Mushtaq Ahmad posted SP Investigation Swat.Besides, Mohmand DPO Ikramullah has been closed to CPO for the mid-career management course while Sanaullah, SP Investigation Mohmand, has been assigned to look-after the office of DPO Mohmand in addition to his current responsibilities.

Also, Usama Amin Cheema, previously awaiting posting at CPO Peshawar, has been appointed Acting SP Investigation Swabi, Iftikhar Ali posted as acting SP City Kohat, Jehanzeb has been moved to serve as Acting SP Investigation Kurram. More officers are to be reshuffled in a few days, including some DPOs in merged and settled districts. Some officers are to be assigned important responsibilities in the next round.
