PPP to hold public meeting on 30th to mark foundation day
A meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division’s executive committee was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of President PPP Karachi Division
Saeed Ghani to finalise preparations for the party’s Yaum-e-Tasees (foundation day) on Nov 30. The meeting was attended by General Secretary PPP Sindh Waqar Mehdi, General Secretary Karachi Division
Rauf Nagori, Information Secretary Karachi Division Dr Sharmila Faruqi, and PPP Women Wing Karachi Division representative Dr Shahida Rehmani along with district presidents and general secretaries.
The atmosphere of the meeting reflected unity, purpose, and a deep emotional connection to the party’s historic struggle. Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of PPP leadership and workers, sacrifices that paved the way for the restoration of democracy, strengthened constitutional rights, and safeguarded the dignity of the people. From Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the history of the PPP was defined by courage, resilience, and an unshakeable commitment to the people of Pakistan.
