Armed men in law enforcers’ uniform rob house in Faqeera Goth
Armed suspects dressed in law enforcement uniforms stormed a house in Faqeera Goth under the guise of an “operation” and looted cash, gold, and mobile phones within the limits of the SITE Superhighway Industrial Area police station on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday.
The incident occurred after midnight, when around 12 suspects wearing law enforcement uniforms entered the residence. According to the complainant, Attaullah, the suspects first had a veiled woman knock on the door. Using the pretext of conducting a security operation, they forced their way inside.
The suspects then locked several family members, including women and children, in a single room. During the ordeal, they allegedly stole Rs650,000 in cash, gold chains, earrings, nose pins, and three mobile phones. Attaullah stated that the suspects had arrived on foot and fled the same way after the robbery, causing a total loss estimated between Rs1 million and Rs1.2 million.
Haider Agha, a cousin of the complainant who ran a hotel business, also confirmed that all the suspects were wearing police uniforms. Police had recorded the complainant’s statement and begun further investigation into the incident.
