Gold rates up Rs7,900 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs7,900 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold rates reached Rs431,562 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs6,773 to Rs369,994.
Gold rates increased by $79 to $4,092 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs177 to Rs5,422 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs152 to Rs4,648.
