38 terrorists killed in KP
RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed 38 Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy in four separate Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province over the last three days.
In one statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that 15 Khwarij belonging to the Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements on November 15-16.
Following reports on the presence of Khwarij, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by security forces in the general area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District. During the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, resulting in 10 Khwarij, including Khwarij ringleader Alam Mehsud, being sent to hell.
In another IBO conducted in the general area of Datta Khel, North Waziristan District, troops successfully neutralised five more Khwarij. Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khwarij found in the area.
A relentless Counter-Terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam”—as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan—by the security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, the ISPR statement said.
In a separate statement, the ISPR said security forces also killed 23 Khwarij belonging to the Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in two further engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on November 16-17.
On the reported presence of Khwarij, an IBO was conducted by security forces in Bajaur District. During the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, resulting in 11 Khwarij, including Khwarij ringleader Sajjad alias Abuzar, being sent to hell.
In another IBO conducted in Bannu District, troops successfully neutralised 12 more Khwarij. Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khwarij found in the area.
Meanwhile, the Counter Terrorism Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested a terrorist and his facilitators who were planning to carry out a suicide attack. The CTD SWAT teams, Elite Force personnel and Bajaur police arrested two suspicious persons from Khushk Nala. According to initial investigations, the suspects were planning a major terrorist attack for which Qais, son of Shah Khan, resident of Wacha Wana, Balkh Province, Afghanistan, had come to Pakistan. The second arrested terrorist Rafiullah, son of Noor Muhammad, resident of Inam Khoro Changi, is described as the facilitator and handler. Hand grenades were recovered from the possession of both the terrorists while a local made IED, fuse and explosives wrapped in a blue bag were also recovered.
