DPO suspended 9 cops in Khyber

BARA: District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber Rai Mazhar Iqbal suspended nine cops, including Syed Karim Checkpost In-charge due to the prisoners’ escape.
According to sources, the Khyber Police were taking strict notice of the incident as the prisoner escaped from the custody while the police official had issued orders to immediately appear before the Police Line Shahkas.
According to sources, the escaped prisoners, Said Wali and Havaldar Dawood Khan who had remained in-charge of the Kote Ziarat Checkpost. The police sources said that according to initial reports, Dawood is currently hiding in Orakzai district, where police efforts are underway to arrest him.
