34 gangs busted, looted vehicles recovered

MULTAN: Cantonment Division police have arrested more than seven dozen members of over two dozen gangs and recovered looted valuables and vehicles from their possession.
The Cantt Division police arrested 88 members of 34 gangs wanted in robbery, extortion and motorcycle theft cases and recovered stolen valuables worth more than Rs70.2 million, including 10 cars, 139 motorcycles, 36 mobile phones and more than Rs33.42 million in cash.
The police also recovered 345kg hashish, 16kg heroin, 12kg ice, 3,308 litres alcohol, 42 pistols, two revolvers, three guns and four rifles from eth possession of the arrested criminals.
