ATC orders judicial remand of 181 activists

ISLAMABAD. The court of Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain has ordered the judicial remand of 181 arrested workers of a banned religious party, while 17 workers were discharged from the case.

During the hearing on November 13, 198 workers were presented in the court after an identity parade. The court ordered the judicial remand of 181 workers of the banned religious party, while 17 workers were discharged from the cases.

In another case, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), headed by Justice Tahir Abbas Supra, sentenced the criminal involved in the murder of former Attorney General Sardar Muhammad Khan to death on two counts and acquitted co-accused Waqif Khan due to lack of evidence.

The court sentenced Rohullah to death under the murder and terrorism sections. He was also sentenced to pay Rs 500,000 in damages and a fine of Rs 500,000.

Reportedly, Rohullah killed former Attorney General Sardar Muhammad Khan in the F-10 area of Shalimar police station in 2010.
