Dublin councillor calls on Aseefa
ISLAMABAD: First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Thursday met Dublin City Councillor Ammar Ali.
The discussion focused on strengthening democracy, upholding shared values and fostering closer ties between Pakistan and Ireland. Ammar expressed respect for the leadership and legacy of Pakistan Peoples Party leaders Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He also shared insights from his research on ZAB’s contribution to democracy and social justice. The first lady conveyed her best wishes for his upcoming election as Dublin’s deputy mayor and hoped for a successful tenure in public service. She encouraged him to continue his efforts to engage with young Pakistanis, sharing his insights into democratic participation and civic responsibility.
