Interim seniority list of BS-19 PAS officials issued
ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has released the interim seniority list of grade 19 officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS).
According to a circular issued by the Establishment Division, the seniority list has been prepared in accordance with the relevant rules and shared with the officers concerned . They have been instructed to submit any objections regarding entries in the list within 15 days, accompanied by documentary evidence. Objections received after the stipulated period will not be entertained, and the list will be considered final. The provisional list comprises 200 PAS officers and includes details such as names, dates of birth, domicile, joining dates, induction into the service, and promotion timelines to grades 18 and 19. In the current seniority order, M. Azhar Rauf holds the top position, followed by Ijaz Ali Pathan and Muhammad Usman Moazzam in second and third place, respectively. The last officer on the list is Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali.
The list also features a notable number of female officers who were promoted to grade 19 during different periods. It also mentions disciplinary action against an officer, Faheem Khan Afridi, who has been demoted by one grade for three years under a major penalty. His seniority will be restored after the completion of the penalty period. The Establishment Division has also directed the IT Directorate to upload the seniority list on its official website to facilitate easy online access for officers.
