CDA top management removes 86 officials

ISLAMABAD: Top management of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in a big action, has removed 86 officers of different cadres from their posts directing them to report to the Human Resources Directorate with immediate effect.

The Human Resource Directorate (HRD) has issued two separate office orders regarding removal of these officers from their posts.

The notifications do not give reasons for removal of these officers but the sources said the action was taken in light of intelligence reports regarding their performance.

Those who faced removal include BS-19 officers Director General (Water) Sardar Khan Zimri; Director (Monitoring) Shafi Muhammad Marwat; Deputy Director General (Metro Bus) Rana Tariq Mahmood; Director Law Abdul Hakeem Buriro; Director Training Academy Mumtaz Ali Shar; Director Admn/HR/Law Iftikhar Ali Haideri; Deputy Director General (Admn) Kashif Shah, Director (MPO) Omar Sagheer; Director Environment (East) Asif Majeed and Director Sports and Culture Muhammad Attaullah.

The BS-18 officers who faced the action include Deputy Director Building Control Usman Rasheed; Deputy Director MCQ Lab Ikhlaq Hussain; Deputy Director (Parks Division) Aurengzeb Bajkani; Deputy Director Environment (Urban-III) Abid Shah: Deputy Director Urban Planning-II Muhammad Haneef and Deputy Director Sector Development Aijazul Hasan.

There are also 15 Assistant Directors, Admn Officers, building inspectors, Senior Assistants, Patwaris who have been removed from their posts.

Postings and transfers on a large-scale are expected in the next few days.
