Two transporters kidnapped from Karachi recovered in joint police operation in Balochistan

In a successful joint operation on Wednesday, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) rescued two transporters who had been abducted from the Garden neighbourhood.

On September 23, 2025, Aamir and his friend Shahzaib arrived near the Garden Zoo area when unidentified suspects kidnapped them and demanded a ransom of Rs3 billion for their release. An FIR (No 387/25) was registered under Section 365-A of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Garden police station, and the investigation was subsequently handed over to the AVCC Karachi.

A spokesperson said that SSP AVCC Karachi formed a special team comprising CPLC officials and technical staff to trace the kidnappers. Acting on technical data and human intelligence, the team conducted a raid in Balochistan and successfully recovered the abducted men, Aamir, son of Haji Aurangzeb, and Shahzaib, son of Inayatullah, along with their black Revo vehicle.

The oolice added that efforts to apprehend the kidnappers in Balochistan were still underway. After their recovery, the complainant and the victims expressed heartfelt gratitude to the AVCC police for their swift and effective action. Further investigation is in progress.
