Body of missing student found in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: The body of a ninth-grade student, who had gone missing from the Aziz Khail area in the limits of Parang Police Station, was found near Choti Bridge here on Saturday.
Police and family sources said that 16-year-old Hazar, son of Sarbaz Khan, had left home on Friday evening but did not return. His family searched for him throughout the night, and his body was later found in a deserted area near Choti Bridge. Police officials said the boy had been killed by unidentified assailants, who dumped his body in the wilderness.
After conducting a postmortem at the DHQ Hospital, the police handed over the body to the family for burial. A case has been registered against unknown persons under murder charges, and investigation is underway to identify and arrest the culprits.
