KP CM visits family of martyred SP in Kohat

KOHAT: Khyber Pakhtun- khwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi visited Kohat district on Sunday, where he met the family of martyred SP Asad Zubair, who embraced martyrdom in the recent Hangu blast.

During the visit, the chief minister offered condolences to the bereaved family and fateha for the martyred officer and his brave colleagues. He lauded their courage and devotion to duty, saying their sacrifices for peace and security would be remembered in golden words in history.

“SP Asad Zubair and his companions laid down their lives for the protection of the nation,” the chief minister said. “The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have rendered unparalleled sacrifices for maintaining peace and protecting the lives and property of citizens, and the entire nation takes pride in them,” he added.

CM Afridi reaffirmed that the families of martyrs would never be left alone, assuring them of the government’s full support at every step. He added that the provincial government is taking concrete measures to strengthen the police force through the provision of modern weapons, equipment, and training to further consolidate law and order in the province.It may be mentioned that the martyred SP Asad Zubair was a close relative of former federal minister and MNA Shehryar Khan Afridi.
