Martyred soldier laid to rest in Kohat

KOHAT: The funeral prayer for the Pakistan Army soldier Kashif Khan, who embraced martyrdom in an operation in Waziristan a day earlier, was offered in his native village, Doli Banda, near Kohat on Tuesday.

The funeral was attended by a number of civil and military officials, as well as residents of the area. The body of the martyred soldier was presented the guard of honour by Pakistan Army personnel, who also laid floral wreaths on his coffin as a mark of respect. 

Later, Kashif Khan, son of Hussain Khan was laid to rest with full military honours. The participants paid rich tribute to the martyr for his courage and sacrifice in the line of duty.
