Teacher fractures student’s hand in Phoolnagar
PHOOLNAGAR: A shocking incident of brutality has surfaced at a local school in the city, where a teacher allegedly subjected a 9th-grade student to a severe beating, resulting in a fractured hand.
According to the victim’s father, Rao Khurshid, his daughter Ghazala Khurshid, a 9th-grade student, was seriously injured when a teacher beat her during school hours. The assault reportedly resulted in a broken hand. The school administration initially attempted to suppress the incident. However, it came to light after the father filed a formal complaint. Disturbingly, he was also allegedly threatened with serious consequences for pursuing the matter.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage in public and social circles, with many condemning the blatant violation of the Punjab government’s “No Corporal Punishment” policy. The parents are demanding swift and strict action against the teacher and school administration to prevent such acts of cruelty in the future.
