PMDC appoints Brig (retd) Dr Rehan Naqvi as registrar

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has selected a registrar for a period of four years. The selection committee headed by Federal Secretary Ministry of National Health Hamid Yaqoob Sheikh and PMDC President Dr Rizwan Taj interviewed 27 candidates, including three deputy registrars -- Dr Imdad Khushk, Dr Azhar Ali Shah and Dr Habib, and PIMS Director Dr Mutahir Shah. However, the committee selected Brigadier (retd) Dr Rehan Naqvi as registrar. PMDC President Dr Rizwan Taj confirmed the appointment of Brigadier (retd) Dr Rehan Naqvi as the registrar and said that after three advertisements for registrars, the selection of the registrar has been possible and an offer letter has been given to him to appoint him as the registrar.
