Woman, 2 kids die after drinking ‘poisonous water’

CHARSADDA: A woman and her two kids died after drinking poisonous water in Anbar Sar area in the limits of Mandani Police Station on Saturday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tangi Circle, Abdur Rashid said that the mother and her two children, aged 4 and 5 years, were taking their meal when the mother drew water from the household hand pump and gave it to her children and drank it herself. 

Soon after drinking the water, all the three fell critically ill. Both the children died within a short time, while the mother died later in the hospital.
