Seven India-sponsored terrorists killed in Sherani IBO
RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed seven India-sponsored terrorists in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Sherani district of Balochistan.
Security forces conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Sherani district of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij. During the conduct of operation, forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, seven Indian sponsored terrorists were killed. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
Sanitisation operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of India-sponsored terrorism from the country, and reaffirm the nation’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of terrorism to justice.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari commended the security forces for successful operation against the terrorists in district Sherani of Balochistan. In a statement, he acknowledged the professionalism and bravery of security forces in eliminating the Indian-backed Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists. He described the soldiers as national heroes who thwarted the nefarious designs of anti-state elements.
“Pakistan’s people and the armed forces stood shoulder-to-shoulder for completely eliminating terrorism from the country,” the president said reaffirming the state’s resolve to continue all possible measures for the safety of the people and establish peace across the country.
“The nation pays tribute to its martyrs,” the president added.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for eliminating seven India-backed terrorists from the group Fitna Al-Khawarij in Sherani district, Balochistan. The prime minister stated that the terrorists, who targeted innocent and unarmed civilians, had been decisively defeated. “We will uproot the menace of terrorism,” he said in a statement issued by the Prime Minister Office.
He reaffirmed that the government and security forces remain fully committed to eradicating terrorism from the country. “We will never allow those who seek to harm Pakistan’s integrity to succeed,” he added.
