KARACHI: Japan’s Terra Motors has launched its flagship electric three-wheeler, Kyoro, in Pakistan, aiming to provide sustainable options for passenger transport and logistics.

The Kyoro reaches speeds of over 55 km/h, offers a range of up to 200 kilometres per charge, and runs on an 11.7 kWh battery. The vehicle can be fully charged in four hours, making it well-suited to local urban conditions.

The company, in a statement, said the launch marks a milestone in its strategy to expand affordable, eco-friendly mobility across Asia and Africa. Terra Motors is now seeking exclusive distributor partners in Pakistan to support the adoption of the three-wheeler.

After achieving success in regional markets, the firm expects Kyoro to improve drivers’ earnings and expand access to modern, cost-effective transport.Go Suzuki, managing director of Terra Motors Corporation, said the company viewed Pakistan as a key market in Asia. “With Kyoro and strong local partnerships, our aim is to reduce fuel dependency, create jobs and promote a cleaner, more efficient transport system,” he added.
