4 employees of private company kidnapped
NOWSHERA: Unidentified armed men kidnapped four employees of a private optical fibre net company along with their vehicle in the remote hilly area of Nizampur in Nowshera district on Tuesday.
According to police, the kidnapped persons identified Kashif and Israr, Zahidullah and Bashirullah, residents of Karak district. Kashif and Israr were stated to be brothers.Police sources said the four employees had gone to Nizampur to repair a technical fault in the optical fiber network cable when they were abducted. It was learnt that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs5 million from the families of the abductees.
A case was registered by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Police Station, Mardan, while a joint operation was launched under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Akora Khattak Circle, Jawad Khan, to ensure the safe recovery of the abductees.
