Man dies of dengue

CHARSADDA: A clerk serving at the deputy commissioner’s office here died of dengue fever, bringing the reported death toll from the virus in the district to six.
The deceased, 40-year-old Ibrar Khan, was in-charge of the driving licence branch at the DC office. His dengue test had returned positive a few days ago, after which he was admitted to hospital. According to health officials, his platelet count had dropped significantly, leading to his death.
