Highest number of dengue cases reported in a day from Pindi

Rawalpindi: The incidence of dengue fever is continuously on the rise in this region of the country hinting towards a possible outbreak of the infection in the next few days as in the last 24 hours, another 19 individuals belonging to Rawalpindi district have tested positive for the infection that is the highest number of confirmed dengue fever cases reported in a day from the district this year so far.
Data collected by ‘The News’ on Wednesday has revealed that the confirmation of another 19 patients positive for dengue fever from Rawalpindi has taken the total number of dengue fever patients so far reported from the district to 159 including 88 patients from Rawalpindi and 71 from Murree.
