Bajaur flood victims get compensation cheques

KHAR: Compensation cheques were distributed among the flood affected families in Salarzai tehsil, Jabara and Adam Shagai at a ceremony held in Civil Colony here on Monday.

Former lawmakers Gul Zafar Khan and Anwarzeb Khan, heirs of the flood victims and heads of various departments attended the event.On behalf of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, condolences and prayers were offered for the deceased.

As per the CM’s directives, former provincial minister and MPA Anwarzeb Khan and Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur Shahid Ali Khan distributed a total of Rs40.2 million among the families of those who died in recent floods in Salarzai, Jabara, and Adam Shagai and Rs 2 million for damaged houses.
