Swimmers Harris, Lianna to represent Pakistan at Rio

KARACHI: Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF) has received an official email from FINA saying that Harris Bandey and Lianna Swan have been allocated Universality Place wild card entry in Rio Olympics 2016.
“Reference is made to the participation of swimmers from Pakistan through Universality places at the Games of the XXXI Olympiad Rio 2016. FINA hereby confirms that the two aquatics’ athletes are allowed to swim at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games,” FINA’s letter to PSF said.
Harris Bandey has been picked for 400m Freestyle male event, while Lianna Catherine Swan has been picked for 50m Freestyle female event.
