This letter refers to the news report ‘Audit report finds over ‘Rs1 trillion irregularities’ in Punjab’ (June 22, 2025). One should note that the audit covers the 2024-25 period, so past governments cannot be blamed for these irregularities.
I would now like to hear any explanations the Punjab government might have for these substantial irregularities and would also like the federal authorities to take a look at these issues.
