Two held for robbing people on pretext of home delivery
LAHORE:Lahore Police have busted a gang and arrested its two members for depriving people of their valuables on the pretext of delivering items to houses. According to Gulberg Police sources, using modern technology, the police traced and arrested a two-member dacoit gang near Jallo Park. The accused had committed crimes near Hali Road a few days ago under the pretext of delivering items. The accused used to enter houses under the pretext of delivering various items and, taking the opportunity, snatch cash from citizens at gunpoint and escaped. The arrested suspects confessed that they had committed more than 13 crimes. More than Rs50,000 in cash, a pistol and a motorcycle were recovered from them. Police registered a case against suspects Babal Pervez and Danish.
