‘It’s time Muslim nations get united’
LAHORE:A seminar titled ‘Impact of Israeli Aggression on Iran and Pakistan’s Role,’ was held at the Falcon Club of Pakistan Air Force Housing Society.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, the event brought together prominent military, political, social, and journalistic figures to discuss the recent geopolitical shifts.Retired Air Vice Marshal Sajid Habib said that Israel had full US backing, similar to India’s past aggression against Pakistan with US and Israeli support. Retired Brig Farooq Hamid lauded Iran’s ‘unblemished leadership’ and its people for their robust response to Israeli aggression. Analyst Muhammad Mehdi said that Iran was initially taken by surprise but then received ‘divine help’ that turned the tide.
Safdar Ali Khan of Sarzameen Forum stated that ‘Israeli aggression against Iran has provided a fragmented Muslim Ummah an opportunity to unite.’ Nazir Hussain, President of Pakistan-China Chamber of Commerce and a former diplomat, warned that with US support, Israel would prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power, and cautioned that an atomic bomb could potentially be used against Iran, similar to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
