Thanks to recent highway projects, a day-long journey has turned into one that takes merely a few hours and these new highways are also playing an important role in improving the economy of our country. However, some communities alongside these projects have been left stranded due to lack of proper passages to access their farms.
Consequently, these farms have been turned barren as a result of remaining uncultivated. The planners have merely ignored these communities’ needs while building the highways. There is a dire need for more underpasses and alternative routes to help farmers access arable land.
