All necessary arrangements are being finalised to establish a garment institute in the next month by Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) at Government Institute of Emerging Technologies, Township.
Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) is providing technical assistance in the shape of latest expensive machinery and equipment for successful launch of garment courses. It was stated by Tevta Chairperson Irfan Qaiser during a meeting. He said that TIKA would provide machinery/equipment while waste water treatment plant would be set up by Tevta. Garments related courses, including industrial stitching machine operator, denim washing expert and denim dry finishing expert, would be offered after finalisation of arrangements.
