YouTuber among five booked in rape, blackmail case
LAHORE:A case involving rape, blackmail, and unlawful confinement has been registered at the Nawab Town police station against five individuals, including YouTuber Rajab Butt and social media personality Man Dogar.
According to the FIR filed by social media activist 'A', the incident began when she befriended a man named Salman Haider on social media. She claimed that after building trust, Salman invited her to a house on Raiwind Road, where he allegedly drugged and raped her, recorded indecent videos, and used them to blackmail her over time.
The situation escalated when 'A’s sister, 'P', was also shown the video. In an attempt to confront Salman, the women went to his residence, where they alleged they were locked in a room by Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, Jawad Haider, Jahangir Butt, and Salman Haider.
'A' further stated in the FIR that Jawad Haider forcibly took their mobile phones, erased the data, threatened them, and then threw them out of the house. Police said legal action will be taken based on evidence and the outcome of the inquiries.
Two injured as employee opens fire at employer
A dispute over late arrival at work led to a violent incident on Temple Road, where a burger shop employee opened fire on his employer, injuring two people. According to police, an argument broke out between Abid, the owner of the burger shop, and his employee Ehsan over Ehsan's repeated late arrivals.
Ehsan opened fire, injuring Abid and another individual named Hussain. Mozang police arrested the accused on the spot and recovered the weapon used in the attack. The injured were shifted to hospital. A case was registered.
