ISLAMABAD: The 25 percent income tax rebate for teachers and researchers working in universities, strategic institutions, and research organisations is being reinstated through the Finance Bill 2025-26.
This clause is being included as part of the financial legislation accompanying the federal budget, and once approved, it will come into effect immediately.
According to sources in the Ministry of Finance, the reinstatement of this rebate will provide financial relief to thousands of teachers and researchers across the country and strengthen their academic and research endeavours.
