Crackdown on one-wheelers

LAHORE:Lahore Police, in anticipation of Eid-ul-Azha, has intensified its crackdown against one-wheelers and those involved in aerial firing to ensure public safety.
According to the police spokesman, 931 individuals have been arrested this year so far for one-wheeling with 821 cases registered against them. The spokesman added that 547 suspects have been apprehended for aerial firing, resulting in the registration of 681 cases. Additionally, 27 cases have been registered for the display of firearms while 3,913 cases were filed for possession of illegal weapons.
