Azma lauds Maryam’s action-oriented leadership
LAHORE : Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari declared Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz as the most favored leader among the younger generation, citing her tangible efforts to empower youth.
Speaking on Saturday, Azma highlighted the enthusiastic response from young people at recent events where electric bikes, scholarships, and laptops were distributed to deserving individuals as evidence of the CM’s growing popularity. "Maryam has not just made promises; she has won the hearts of young people through concrete actions," Bokhari stated. She emphasized that the youth seek positive change and reject the politics of violence.
Bokhari criticised those who manipulate young minds for malicious political agendas, calling them "the real enemies of the youth." She underscored that Pakistan’s future rests with its youth, whose potential the CM’s is nurturing by providing resources like laptops rather than "batons embedded with nails." The minister noted that Maryam has fulfilled her promises to the youth, exposing those who falsely claimed to represent them while inciting unrest.
Azma further praised the CM’s leadership, stating that Punjab is leading other provinces in development, prosperity, and governance due to her policies rooted in merit, transparency, and effective administration.
