11 officers transferred

LAHORE:The Punjab government has issued orders for the transfer and appointment of 11 officers in Grade 17 and 18. Rashid Iqbal, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, School Education. Hafiz Irfan Hameed, Deputy Secretary, Specialised Healthcare, has been transferred, and his services have been handed over to the Director General, Urban and Town Planning Agency.

Naeem Siddiq Cheema, Deputy Secretary, Irrigation Department South Punjab, has been transferred to the PDMA. Ahmad Naveed, who was also awaiting posting, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, Irrigation Department South Punjab.

The transfer orders of Deputy Secretary, Local Government Department, Muzammil Ilyas, issued on April 11, has been cancelled. He has been directed to continue working on his current position. M Abid, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as a Member of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team.

Sajid Munir, Deputy Secretary, Energy Department, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Khushab, while Nauman Farooq, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Dera Ghazi Khan, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Energy Department.

Usman Munir Bukhari, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Vehari, has been transferred to the same position in Dera Ghazi Khan. Babar Suleman, Deputy Secretary, Special Education, has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Vehari. Dr Fayyaz Ali, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, Special Education. The S&GAD issued the notification after approval from Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman.

Azfar appointed DG Forests

The Punjab government has appointed Azfar Zia (PMS/BS-20), previously serving as Special Secretary in the Livestock & Dairy Development Department, South Punjab, as the new Director General (Forest), Punjab. His posting is against a newly-created position and takes immediate effect. The notification, issued by the S&GAD, states that the appointment has been made under the order of Punjab governor.
