Man arrested for killing woman, firing at police

LAHORE: A man identified as Babar allegedly killed Farhat Bibi, a woman with whom he had an intimate relationship, after a dispute in Kot Lakhpat’s Babar Chowk.

Babar lured her to his residence under false pretenses and shot her dead. When police arrived at the scene, he opened fire on them from inside the premises, leading to a brief shootout. The suspect was subsequently apprehended by the police.
