ISLAMABAD: Writer and social activist Fatima Bhutto, daughter of Mir Murtaza Bhutto and niece of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, has given birth to her second son.
Supporters and leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party congratulated Fatima Bhutto and offered prayers for the health of both mother and child.
In an Instagram post on May 15, Fatima Bhutto announced that she has become a mother for the second time with the birth of another son. She announced that the baby has been named ‘Caspian Mustafa’, and their family has now grown from three members to four.
Expressing gratitude to God for the birth of her son, the writer and social activist shared that she deeply misses her father on this occasion. “I wish my children’s grandfather were here with them,” she wrote.
Fatima Bhutto also thanked the doctors and medical staff for their care and said that becoming a parent is a beautiful feeling for which she is grateful to God.
She had confirmed her marriage in April 2023. Her first child was born in March 2024. She named her first son Mir Murtaza after her father, and the second son has been named Caspian Mustafa.
Upon the birth of her second child, her brother Zulfiqar Bhutto Jr., among others, extended congratulations and offered prayers for the health of the mother and baby.
Hearing of the case registered by Aabpara police station was adjourned till July 15
