ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division has nominated 28 officers of different services and groups for the National Security and War Course (NSWC) 2025-26.
The course, which will be held at the National Defence University from August 11 to January 4, 2026, is mandatory for promotion of bureaucrats from Grade-20 to 21.
Four officers of Pakistan Administrative Service, Commissioner Lahore Zaid Bin Maqsood, Joint Secretary Economic Affairs Division Yahya Akhunzada, Commissioner DG Khan Nasir Mahmood Bashir and Commissioner Hyderabad Bilal Ahmed are the nominees for the war course.
Four officers of Police Service of Pakistan, DIG (IT) Sindh, Captain (retd) Pervaiz Ahmed, Additional IGP (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shaukat Abbas, Director FIA Balochistan Zone Imran Mehmood and DIG Welfare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Kashif Mushtaq Kanjo have been nominated.
Secretariat Group Grade-20 officer and Commissioner Afghan Refugees Muhammad Abbas Khan and Joint Secretary Establishment Division Tariq Mehmood are among the nominees,
Four officers of Foreign Service, Ayesha Ali, Sajjad Haider Khan, Muhammad Tariq Wazir and Rabia Shafiq, two officers of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service, DG Audit Moeed Ali and Joint Secretary Prime Minister’s Office Jahangir Mushtaq Work have also been nominated.
Deputy Director General ISI Islamabad Anjum Sohail, Deputy DG Muhammad Abu Bakr Aftab Qureshi and Deputy DG IB Abdul Wahab Sheikh are also the nominees.
Other officers nominated include Muhammad Khalid Jamil, Faisal Rauf Memon and Miss Nafisa Satti of Inland Revenue Service, Saima Aftab of Pakistan Customs Service, DG Digital Communication of Information Group Muhammad Shahzad, Dr Muhammad Adnan of Commerce and Trade Group, Nasir Mahmood of Economist Group, Director NAB Muhammad Rizwan Khan and Secretary Social Protection Department Sindh Rafiq Mustafa Sheikh.
