Landmine kills shepherd in Waziristan

MIRANSHAH: A 25-year-old shepherd lost his life in a landmine explosion in the Datta Khel tehsil of the North Waziristan on Tuesday, sources said.
According to local sources, Badi Khan was grazing his livestock in the Doga area of Dattakhel when he accidentally stepped on a landmine planted earlier. The landmine exploded, leaving the young shepherd critically injured.The injured shepherd was rushed to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on the way to the health facility.
