KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs3,700 per tola on Tuesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs344,200 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs3,173 to Rs295,096.Gold rates increased by $37 to $3,258 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.Silver rates increased by Rs82 to Rs3,482 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also rose by Rs71 to Rs2,985.
