Several SHOs transferred in major reshuffle

LAHORE:In a major administrative shake-up aimed at improving policing standards and operational efficiency, DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran has issued transfer and posting orders for several Station House Officers (SHOs) and in-charges of police outposts across the city.

According to a spokesperson for Lahore Police, Sub-Inspector Hafiz M Ramzan has been appointed as SHO Badami Bagh, while Sub-Inspector Adnan Ahmad has been posted from Choki Halloki to Choki Sabzi Mandi, Ravi Road. From Gulshan Ravi Police Station, Sub-Inspector Qasim Ali has been transferred to Choki Halloki, Kahna.

Sub-Inspector Tahir Masood has been posted as in-charge Chowki Akram Park, Islampura from Baghbanpura. Inspector Shabbir Hussain has been appointed SHO Ravi Road, replacing Inspector Muhammad Nadeem, who has been directed to report to Police Lines. Sub-Inspector Asif Fareed was moved from Millat Park to SHO Manga Mandi, while Sub-Inspector Zahid Mahmood has been appointed SHO Nishtar Colony from Police Lines. Sub-Inspector Faheem Imdad has been posted as SHO Kahna from Nishtar Colony.

Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Sohail Ahmad has taken charge as SHO Garhi Shahu, previously serving in Manga Mandi. Sub-Inspector Zahid Mahmood (formerly of the Complaint Cell) is now in charge of Choki Adda Plot, Raiwind.

Further postings included Sub-Inspector Muddassir Jameel (from Sabzi Mandi, Nishtar Colony) to Town Ship Police Station, Sub-Inspector Zohaib Ali as in-charge Choki Sabzi Mandi, Nishtar Colony, Sub-Inspector Amanullah from Choki Factory Area to Defence-A Police Station, Sub-Inspector Imran Azhar from Police Lines to Choki PCHS, Factory Area.

Lady Sub-Inspector Farah Mushtaq has been appointed SHO Women Police Station, Racecourse, while Sub-Inspector Waqas Ahmad has been posted to Choki Jia Baga, Raiwind City.

In contrast, several officers have been recalled to Police Lines including Sub-Inspector Awais Ali (former in-charge Choki Jia Baga), Inspector M Nadeem (former SHO Ravi Road), Inspector Nasir Hameed (former SHO Kahna), Sub-Inspector Aitzaz (former in-charge Chowki Adda Plot, Raiwind) who is now on general duty at Gujjarpura Police Station.
