IAPEX 2025, largest building materials exhibition, opened at Expo Centre
KARACHI: IAPEX 2025, Pakistan’s largest Building Materials Exhibition, has officially opened at the Karachi Expo Centre. Organized by the Institute of Architects Pakistan, Karachi Chapter (IAP-KC), this event showcases innovative building materials, sustainable technologies, and cutting-edge design solutions that are reshaping the future of architecture and construction.
Inaugurated by Sindh Minister for Local Government, Saeed Ghani, the exhibition is curated to international standards, making it a significant platform for professionals across the built environment.
The exhibition is not just about building materials; it’s about understanding the transformative journey of architecture. As the event unfolds, it presents an exploration of KAL, Kladiscope of Architectural Lifescape, a term in Urdu used for both Yesterday and Tomorrow — offering a look at how architecture has evolved over time, how it stands today, and where it is headed in the future.
This exploration, encapsulated in the Architects Conference, runs from 2nd to 4th May and brings together renowned Pakistani and international architects to discuss the dynamic progression of architecture, from its rich history to its forward-thinking future.
The conference delves into the rich architectural legacy of the past (Kal), reflecting on how traditional designs have influenced modern practices.It will then shift to the present (Aaj), examining the innovative ideas and sustainable solutions shaping today’s built environment.
Finally, it will look forward to the future (Kal), exploring cutting-edge technologies, trends, and visions that will define the architecture of tomorrow.
