12,762 unauthorised foreigners evacuated

LAHORE:Punjab Police have evacuated 12,762 unauthorised foreigners, including Afghans, from across the province so far. According to Punjab Police spokesman, 12,936 people were moved to holding centres, while 174 remain at the holding points.

IGP resolves cops’ issues

IGP Punjab Dr Usman Anwar met with cops and their families at the Central Police Office and listened to their issues. The IGP forwarded promotion requests of 12 Inspectors and 10 Sub-Inspectors to the DIG Establishment-I. The IGP forwards transfer request of Inspector Muhammad Azam to Additional IG Punjab, financial assistance request of retired Sub-Inspector Sajid Khan to DIG Welfare and Finance, transfer request of Inspector Masood Ahmed to DIG Establishment-I, financial assistance request of retired Sub-Inspector Siddique Ahmed to DIG Welfare and Finance, promotion request of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shahid to DIG Establishment-I, and promotion request of Traffic Warden Zahoor Ahmed to Additional IG Traffic Punjab. The IGP forwarded medical treatment request of Constable Asif Ali to DIG Welfare and Finance.

Nine police teams honoured with awards

A ceremony was organised at the CPO where nine police teams were awarded commendation certificates and cash prizes for their exceptional performance.

According to Punjab Police spokesperson, 20 officers and personnel were encouraged with cash prizes and commendation certificates for their outstanding performance against criminal and anti-social elements.

DIG listens to public complaints

During an open court session, DIG Operations received citizen complaints about cafe SOP violations, financial fraud, and police misconduct. He warned cafe owners against legal action.
